What is a resilient person?

Key Characteristics of Resilient People:

  • Adaptability and Flexibility: Resilient individuals are able to adjust to change and uncertainty, embracing new situations and adapting their plans as needed. 
  • Problem-Solving Skills: They approach challenges with a proactive mindset, using their mental strength to find solutions and move forward. 
  • Thinking: Resilient people tend to maintain a positive/neutral outlook, focusing on possibilities and opportunities rather than dwelling on negativity. 
  • Emotional Regulation:They are able to manage their emotions effectively, coping with stress and maintaining a sense of calm even during difficult times. 
  • Strong Support System: Being part of a network of supportive people can significantly contribute to resilience, providing encouragement and resources during challenging periods.

  • Confidence: Believing in one’s abilities and self. 
  • Connection: Having strong ties to family, friends, and community.
